Deputy County Attorney: Litigation Department

Description of Duties The Monroe County Law Department is seeking an attorney to serve in its Litigation Division. The Litigation Division litigates and provides counsel on civil litigation matters to all County departments and offices. The employee(s) works under the general supervision of the County Attorney and/or one or more senior level Deputy County Attorneys. Minimum Qualifications CHARACTERISTICS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The attorney(s) must be duly licensed to practice law in the State of New York. The ideal candidate(s) will have substantial civil litigation experience in New York State and Federal Court. Civil trial experience is preferred.
