Senior Cloud Data Engnieer– Databricks & SnowflakeLocation: Dallas, TX – Onsite from Day 1Employment Type: ContractJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced US Application Architect – Cloud Data Modernization to lead the architecture and modernization of enterprise data platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, Business Intelligence (BI), and ETL/Data Integration, along with experience designing scalable cloud-based data solutions.This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, application teams, and technology leadership to define architecture, modernize legacy data environments, and implement cloud-native data platforms.This is an onsite position in Dallas, TX from Day 1.Required SkillsDatabricksStrong experience with Databricks and cloud-based data engineering.Experience with data transformation, distributed processing, Spark, and lakehouse architecture.Knowledge of Databricks notebooks, workflows, and Delta Lake.SnowflakeStrong experience designing and implementing Snowflake data warehouse/data platform solutions.Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, data loading, and integration.Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and cloud data warehouse best practices.ETL / Data IntegrationStrong expertise in ETL/ELT architecture and data integration.Experience designing enterprise-scale data pipelines.Experience with technologies such as Informatica, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, DataStage, Talend, or similar.Strong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, validation, orchestration, and data quality.Business IntelligenceStrong understanding of Business Intelligence and analytics platforms.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI technologies.Ability to design data structures and pipelines optimized for reporting and analytics.CloudExperience with one or more major cloud platforms:Microsoft AzureAmazon Web Services (AWS)Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
