Office procedures, computers, and office machinesMeets health and physical requirements JOB GOAL To coordinate employee-related duties, administer employee benefits and leave programs, manage recruitment and position records, maintain personnel files, provide assistance to employees and applicants, and perform office responsibilities necessary to maintain an efficiently operated Human Resources office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCoordinates all insurance-related matters for employees, including health, dental, vision, and other benefit programsAssists employees in understanding and enrolling in available benefit plans and programsCoordinates workers compensation claims by processing accident reports, submitting required documentation, and scheduling necessary medical appointmentsEstablishes personnel files and processes paperwork for new employeesMaintains official personnel files for current and former employeesCoordinates resignations, retirements, and leaves of absenceAssists employees with leave requests and explains available leave options, including FMLA, paid parental leave, and other Board-approved leave benefitsProcesses and maintains documentation related to employee leave programs and absencesManages the district recruitment and hiring platform, including posting vacancies, removing filled positions, and maintaining accurate records of employee position assignmentsAssists with employee onboarding and new hire processesAssists employees, applicants, and the public by providing information related to Human Resources procedures, benefits, and servicesCommunicates regularly with school principals, supervisors, and office staff regarding personnel matters, employee benefits, vacancies, leave requests, and Human Resources proceduresReceives and channels incoming calls and correspondenceAssists with maintaining Human Resources records, reports, and documentationOrders and maintains office supplies and materials for the departmentPerforms general clerical and office duties necessary to maintain an efficiently operated officePerforms other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 25 lbs., with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
