Post Road Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled part-time Veterinarian to our team. Post Road Veterinary Clinic opened their doors in 2001 and has been growing ever since. We are a 3-doctor practice in a beautiful facility supporting dogs and cats. We have a highly experienced and tenured, collaborative team. We offer a wide range of veterinary services for pets in the following areas: Pet wellness and vaccination programs to prevent illnesses, animal medical services for diagnosing and treating health conditions, pet surgery including spay and neuter, pet dental cleanings, and many more.
We are in Wells, ME "The Friendliest Town in Maine", less than 2 miles from the beach! Wells boasts excellent public schools, 7 miles of sandy beaches with public access, the "Antiques Mile", many museums, parks & farmers markets, a summer concert series on the Bay, Wonder Mountain Fun Park, a National Wildlife Reserve, access to the Eastern Trail bicycle trail system offering 22 off-road miles from Kittery to South Portland, a plethora of restaurants, of which many specialize in serving local Maine lobster and seafood. Part-Time Veterinarian

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well-pet care
Perform dentals as needed
Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all; staff, clients, and pets

REQUIREMENTS
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
Internship training is also preferred but not required
Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
