Additionally, candidates must fulfill the minimum criteria for medical staff privileges.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough physical examinations and document findings accurately and promptly.Utilize and interpret relevant diagnostic tests (such as laboratory tests and imaging procedures) and provide necessary referrals or consultations.Engage in patient education and counseling to foster wellness, addressing health risk behaviors and providing resources.Offer agreed-upon coverage for patient care in suitable settings (e.g., ambulatory office or hospital) during business hours, evenings, and weekends as mutually arranged and per medical staff bylaws.Maintain and demonstrate the clinical, technical, and surgical skills for which they are credentialed.Administer appropriate pharmacological treatments based on patient age, medical history, allergies, drug interactions, and therapy duration, ensuring quality care in dispensing both narcotic and non-narcotic medications.Keep an updated Delaware medical license, CSR, and DEA license, including fulfilling continuing medical education (CME) requirements and maintaining appropriate Board certification.Perform any additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.Required QualificationsEducation: Doctor of Medicine; completion of residency. Board Certified/Board Eligible as per medical staff bylaws.Credentials: Physician - CSR (if required by job duties); Physician MD DEA (if required by job duties); or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) licensure.
