Immediate need for a full-time hire in Cumming, GA (onsite only). To strengthen financial leadership and improve processes during a critical phase of expansion.Collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial leadership team. Salary: $95,000$120,000, commensurate with experience.Position OverviewThe Accounting Manager will oversee all core accounting functions including financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and cash flow management, supporting a stable but growing business environment across a few simple legal entities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead accounting operations including monthly close and consolidated reportingMaintain internal systems and refine reporting structures and chart of accountsHandle AP, AR, GL, payroll review, job costing, and bank reconciliationsManage intercompany transactions and produce accurate financial statementsCoordinate with external partners on tax filings, audits, and complianceStrengthen financial procedures and ensure adherence to GAAPSupport budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning effortsDeliver insights to leadership to guide decisions and vendor negotiationsMentor accounting staff and manage relationships with banks and insurersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred712 years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in an Accounting Manager or Controller-level roleStrong knowledge of financial consolidations and internal controlsHands-on experience with ERP systems (non-QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skillsBackground in construction, distribution, service, or manufacturing environments preferredComfortable being both strategic and hands-on in daily accounting operationsIf you're interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
