And we create strategies and operating models that really work.You are: A Strategic Souring and Procurement professional who helps clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing, and/or fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chains. You use your data skills to develop and implement strategies that improve the entire supply chain process by applying cost efficiency, increasing business effectiveness, and creating synergies and collaboration across companies. You've also got the communication skills to make sure that everyone understands your ideas and how to get them working as quickly as possible. Whether identifying opportunities to reduce clients' costs and environmental impacts or proposing innovative solutions that curb the effect of soaring prices and longer lead times, Accenture's Sourcing & Procurement team delivers tangible business results for our clients – while also enhancing the employee experience, customer satisfaction, and community impact.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping project plans and leading some or all parts of the client engagementManaging project support resources and coordinating with subject matter experts from within and outside the firmDeveloping creative cost reduction strategies and cost-out recommendationsPresenting to client executivesBuilding consensus among client stakeholdersDeveloping and nurturing relationships with clients; supporting practice development such as improving internal operations, intellectual capital, and deliverablesAssessing client expenditures and identifying targets to reduce costs and improve qualityDriving strategic sourcing (both within companies and across private equity portfolios)Reengineering procurement processesLeading spend analysis and savings opportunity diagnosticsQualificationsMinimum of 7 years of experience executing strategic sourcing projects/programsMinimum 7 years' experience developing and executing cost optimization strategiesMinimum 4 years' experience working with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) with experience building dashboards and modelsManagement consulting experience with a well-regarded firmBachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years' work experience)Bonus PointsYou have prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)You have earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degreeDeep Marketing category and procurement expertise in three or more of these subcategories: Creative Agencies, Media Buying & Planning, PR Agencies, Experiential Agencies, Market Research, MarTech, Digital/Social Marketing, Commercial Print, and Promotional ItemsYou are comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and a capacity for innovation and process improvementDemonstrated abilities in problem solving and independent decision-making capabilities.Ability to effectively take on multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Self-starter mindset and bias towards proactively taking initiative to learn, grow, and advance projectsCompensation and BenefitsCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors.
