The Parts Coordinator develops and manages the spare parts inventory to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime. This role ensures effective parts management to support maintenance execution in a beverage manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail oriented and experienced in inventory control.Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts, consumables, and critical spares in the CMMS or inventory system Issue and track parts for work orders, ensuring timely availability to technicians Work with vendors to source, order, and receive parts in a timely manner Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits Manage storage conditions to ensure part quality and readiness Control parts purchasing within approved budgets and maintain necessary documentationKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) PM schedule adherence rate Work order closure rate and backlog reduction Parts inventory accuracy (cycle count compliance) Maintenance downtime related to parts availability Vendor on-time delivery rate Cost control vs budget for maintenance spare partsRequirementsEducation & Experience: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred 3-5 years inventory management and parts coordination experience Experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment is highly desirableSkills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and scheduling abilitiesKnowledge of mechanical/electrical parts and equipment terminologyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and documentationPittston Co-Packers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
