Junior Software Engineer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role:
- Test all product aspects within the software development lifecycle through software delivery.
- Create and execute manual testing procedures to evaluate software performance.
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
- Communicate software deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Adhere to Agile processes and software testing best practices and standards.
- Utilize Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git for work management and team collaboration.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in writing and/or developing test procedures.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and Agile Development methodologies.
- Experience with a version control system (e.g., Git) and an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira).
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows, LINUX, etc.).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. What's On Offer
