AI EngineerLocation: Austin, TX (Onsite)Position SummaryWe are seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join our growing AI engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in software engineering and artificial intelligence who enjoys solving complex technical problems and building intelligent applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI frameworks.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications using Python and Java, experience working with MongoDB, and an eagerness to learn and build next-generation AI solutions in a collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications using Python and Java.Build and enhance solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI frameworks.Develop AI workflows, automation solutions, and intelligent agents.Integrate AI capabilities with backend systems, APIs, and databases.Work with MongoDB to design and manage application data.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize AI applications for performance and reliability.Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience developing applications using Python.Working knowledge of Java.Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).Exposure to Agentic AI concepts, frameworks, or AI agents.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Exposure to frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar.Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices.Experience with Git and modern software development practices.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.Experience with Docker or containerized applications is a plus.Desired SkillsPythonJavaMongoDBLarge Language Models (LLMs)Agentic AIREST APIsGitProblem SolvingSoftware Engineering Fundamentals
