DC Licensed Deputy General Counsel

A company is looking for a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Key Responsibilities Manage, advise, and provide legal oversight to in-house lawyers on various legal issues related to tax-exempt organizations Supervise administrative activities and operations within the legal department, including staffing and budget preparation Lead the development and coordination of the General Counsel's management team and manage legal department staff Qualifications and Requirements Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school required A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience required Proven management experience in a mission-based organization Current license in good standing to practice law Experience supervising other attorneys required
