Location: Los Angeles, CA / Hybrid - Candidates must be currently in the Los Angeles areaEmployment Type: ContractEstimated Start Date: October 14, 2026Estimated Duration: Approximately 2 monthsPay Rate –$65.00 Per Hour (W2 Only)Position OverviewWe are seeking a Web Developer to support the maintenance, accessibility, design, and ongoing improvement of a public-facing website. This position will focus on implementing web accessibility standards, improving website functionality based on user feedback, creating and updating web pages, and ensuring a consistent user experience across browsers and devices.The Web Developer will work with technical staff, management, and end users to maintain website quality, accessibility, accuracy, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement, manage, monitor, maintain, and upgrade the organization’s website.Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.Create and update website pages and content.Create, upload, and maintain website content, including text, images, documents, and other files using Drupal.Edit web content using HTML within a Content Management System (CMS).Update page layouts, images, and other design elements.Participate in user interface design as needed.Ensure website content is accurate and links are functioning correctly.Optimize website layouts for responsive display across browsers, devices, and platforms.Conduct regular testing to maintain website quality and efficiency.Support implementation of WCAG web accessibility standards.Review and modify PDF files to meet ADA and WCAG accessibility requirements.Post documents and announcements to the website.Collaborate with staff and management to ensure the website meets organizational and branding standards.Provide website-related support and expertise to end users and IT support staff.Prepare technical documentation.Provide regular project status updates and identify potential risks or delivery concerns.Required QualificationsBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.Experience with Drupal Content Management Systems.Experience with HTML5 and CSS.Experience performing website maintenance.Experience posting and modifying web content.Knowledge of web development and web creation best practices.Understanding of responsive design principles for modern multi-platform websites.Experience with web accessibility standards, including ADA and WCAG.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet project deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience creating technical documentation.Ability to gather, interpret, and evaluate complex information and data.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Gmail.
