Industrial Hygiene Program ManagerLocation: Atlanta, GASummaryWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Hygiene / Building Sciences (IHBS) professional to lead consulting projects, manage client relationships, and drive team development. This role blends technical oversight, project management, and business development, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, quality control, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality, alongside the ability to manage multiple projects and contribute to regional business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesManage IHBS projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, budget, timeline, and safety standardsLead and mentor junior staff; support performance management, career development, and technical growthDevelop team goals, conduct performance reviews, and identify training needs across assigned staffMaintain and grow client relationships across private, public, and institutional sectorsSupport business development efforts through opportunity identification, proposal development, and industry engagementCoordinate internal resources, staffing, and workload balancing across projectsProvide quality control for technical reports, RFPs, and regulatory documentationEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirementsMonitor project financials including budgeting, invoicing, and collectionsRepresent the IHBS practice in internal and external meetings, contributing to strategic planning initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in industrial hygiene/building sciences, including project management and client-facing workDemonstrated leadership experience with mentoring and developing teamsStrong knowledge of asbestos, lead, mold, and industrial hygiene regulations at the local, state, and federal levelsExperience managing multiple projects of varying scope and complexityExisting client relationships within the IH marketplace preferredProficiency in technical report writing, review, and documentationExperience with asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality assessmentsLicensed Asbestos Project Designer, Inspector, and/or Management Planner preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe AcrobatStrong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaborativelyValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work in field environments with PPE as required
