Social Media Content Creator

OVERVIEW Jade is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to support our client roster of cannabis retailers and brands, local tourist organizations, non-profits, and more! As a full-time Content Creator, you’ll be working with the creative and social teams to create social media content. In this role, you will concentrate on social media content design, photography, and videography for our clients and work directly with them. You will be responsible for creating new assets for the team to post, sourcing stock photography or video, shooting your own photography and video, creating motion graphics and short videos from original and existing assets, video editing, creating infographics, and conceptualizing new ways to connect with our clients. Although not your primary function, you will also get to work on a variety of creative projects like video production, ad design, and campaign creation, in addition to your work inside of the social media platforms. We’re looking for an outgoing individual who is comfortable with client interaction. You must be organized, motivated, and have high standards for your own work. Key responsibilities: Taking direction from the Social Media Specialist and following creative briefs and shot lists to create social media content, including reels, for a variety of clients Ability to quickly adapt to social media trends Comfortable being on social media and working within the cannabis industry Have knowledge of operating a DSLR video/photo camera, professional audio and lighting to create content and film at client locations, including interview-style video content. Setting up and staging the agency studio for social media shoots. Must have a license and reliable form of transportation to travel to clients and film at locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, and additional regions as client roaster expands Ability to work independently Work in a fast-paced environment, filming and editing content for social media with the ability to produce 5+ reels per day Understand various social media platforms’ algorithms to produce content that will get views and engagement Create content unique to each brand by following corresponding brand guidelines Unicorn Skills Required Videography & photography experience Understanding of social media trends Graphic design Motion graphics Ability to commute to client locations Work independently Experience working in a multi-brand environment Professional in client settings Open to working and posting with cannabis Track record of success + portfolio 1+ years of experience in social media experience 1+ years of experience in photography/videography and using a DSLR camera 1+ years of experience in Adobe Suite Valid driver's license and have a reliable form of transportation for commuting to clients as needed Must be 21+ due to work in the cannabis industry Benefits: Full-Time Salary Position 2 Weeks Paid Vacation 401K Salary will be determined based on experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Social media marketing: 1 year (Preferred) Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred) Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred) Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Worcester, MA 01608: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
