Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer

As the principal technical authority, the full-time Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer will oversee the mechanical design and thermodynamic configuration of utility-scale power generation assets and midstream gas transmission infrastructure, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while optimizing system performance in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Own the thermodynamic design and configuration of Combined Cycle Power Plants and heavy CHP installations Direct the mechanical layout, material selection, and advanced stress analysis for high-energy piping systems Serve as the final technical reviewer for large-scale utility systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 12 years of deep technical design experience within power generation utilities or midstream gas transmission infrastructure 12 years of engineering experience with aeroderivative and gas turbines, multi-stage steam turbines, and Heat Recovery Steam Generators 12 years of experience designing natural gas pipelines Ability to utilize on-site Power Generation Design and Commissioning
