With a thriving marketing foundation in place, we're now looking to scale our ad sales efforts with a dedicated leader focused on monetizing this reach.The RoleWe're looking for a driven, resourceful Business Development Representative to help build and expand Moby's advertising pipeline.This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role focused on outbound prospecting, relationship building, and sourcing new brand and agency partnerships. You'll work closely with the Directors of Ad Sales to identify target accounts, initiate conversations, qualify opportunities, and help move deals forward.The ideal candidate is hungry, organized, comfortable with cold outreach, and excited about building something from the ground up.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and research target brands and agencies aligned with Moby's audienceExecute high-volume, thoughtful outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and callsBook qualified meetings for the Ad Sales teamDevelop relationships with media buyers, planners, and brand marketersMaintain and update CRM with pipeline activity and notesSupport proposal development and early-stage packaging for smaller opportunitiesTrack outreach performance metrics and optimize messagingRepresent Moby professionally in conversations with enterprise brandsOperational duties such as contract management and account managementQualifications1-3+ years of experience in business development, sales, media, or advertisingHunter mindset and expert in outbound prospecting and cold outreachStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and self-motivatedAble to handle rejection and stay persistent but strategicExperience in media, advertising, or finance a plusBased in NYC or willing to work in a hybrid environmentWhat Success Looks LikeConsistent generation of qualified meetings with target agencies and brandsHealthy, growing outbound pipelineIncreasing conversion rates from meeting to proposalOwnership of smaller campaigns over timeGrowth PathHigh performers may evolve into:Account ExecutiveAd Sales Manager
