Legal Administrative Assistant
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to support our legal team with a wide range of administrative, document management, and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesElectronically file state and federal documents (e-filing) in a timely and accurate mannerServe as DocuSign administrator, managing document execution workflowsPrepare and process expense reportsCoordinate and manage travel arrangements for attorneys and staffRedline and proof legal documents for accuracy and consistencyDraft engagement letters and other routine legal correspondenceCreate and manage ShareFile folders and document sharing processesConvert documents to Word format and clean/edit formatting as neededSave and organize documents within iManage (or similar document management systems)Assist with billing processes, including time entry and invoice supportMaintain calendars, schedule meetings, and track important deadlinesPrepare and update tables of contents for legal documentsFile documents with the South Carolina Secretary of State and other regulatory authoritiesPublish legal notices in accordance with applicable requirementsQualifications & SkillsPrevious experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracyFamiliarity with legal document management systems (e.g., iManage) is a plusExperience with e-filing systems and legal administrative procedures preferred
