Job Title: Financial Systems Business Analyst Location: Tallahassee FLDuration: Long TermPosition OverviewThe Business Analyst will support a large-scale financial system modernization initiative involving the replacement of legacy accounting and cash management systems with a modern enterprise solution. This role is responsible for analyzing impacts to internal accounting systems, documenting business processes, coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and ensuring systems are tested and ready for production implementation.The Business Analyst will work closely with program leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of financial operations during system transition.Key Responsibilities10+ years of experience in Facilitate workshops and working sessions with SMEs and stakeholdersAnalyze impacts of system changes on accounting processes and related business systemsDocument business processes, business requirements, and technical process crosswalksCreate and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)Develop detailed use cases, test cases, and test plansPerform functional, integration, regression, and ad hoc testingExecute quality assurance testing to identify and document defectsDocument and manage defects using JIRAProvide daily and periodic status reportingMaintain project artifacts including:Issue logsChange logsDecision logsAction item registersLessons learned documentationSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Assist in train-the-trainer knowledge transferCollaborate with Developers, Functional Analysts, and Testers to deliver scalable solutionsSupport solutions leveraging Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS) and related technologiesRequired Experience & SkillsMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Business AnalystExperience on large-scale enterprise software implementationsExtensive knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)Strong experience in business requirements gathering and documentationProven ability in test strategy design and defect identificationHands-on experience with multiple test methodologiesExperience using JIRA for defect tracking and resolution managementStrong meeting facilitation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAbility to deliver assignments on schedule and with high qualityPreferred QualificationsMasters Degree in a related fieldExperience with MS Project and MS VisioProfessional certifications such as:ECBACCBACBAPPBA CertificationCertificate in Business Data AnalyticsCompliance RequirementsCompletion of Security Awareness Training within 30 days of engagementSuccessful completion of a Level II Background Check
