We are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value and individual contributions of every employee.About The RoleThis hourly role involves installing, monitoring, and operating advanced industrial treatmentequipment at customer sites, specifically within food processing or paper mill environments. Theprimary area for this role will be Virginia, with occasional travel required tosurrounding territories and multiple locations. The successful candidate will serve as the primaryon-site liaison for Clean Chemistry, interacting professionally with plant management andcommunicating all necessary information to ensure operational success.Core ResponsibilitiesConduct initial rig-up, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and rig-down of equipmentduring field trials.Operate industrial equipment, respond to automated system alerts, and titrate chemicalsat designated application points.Manage chemical feedstock supplies and serve as the on-call contact for emergencysituations.Accurately gather and log trial data while working with minimal daily supervision oncefully trained.Strictly adhere to all internal and customer-specific safety protocols, environmentalstandards, and quality management systems.Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors, co-workers, andcustomers regarding dispatched service orders.Requirements & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent with a proven record of responsibility and integrity inprior roles.Strong English communication skills and basic math proficiency.Valid driver’s license with a passing MVR and eligibility to drive company vehicles underClean Chemistry's insurance policies.Ability to use basic hand tools and maintain active phone service to utilize ourtimekeeping application.Willingness to work extended shifts (day or night), after-hours, weekends, and holidaysacross all seasons as a lone worker.Comfort handling hazardous chemicals and a strict willingness to wear all requiredPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE).Successful completion of pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, andparticipation in random drug screening programs.Preferred ExperienceBackground working in food processing or pulp and paper mill operations.Hands-on experience with plumbing, pipe fitting, pumps, valves, and analytical labtechniques.Familiarity with industrial automation equipment and remote software tools.Physical DemandsMust be able to perform frequent lifting (50 pounds)Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, and standingMust be able to stay awake and be alert for assigned shiftsCompensation And BenefitsHealth & Vision401KLife & DisabilityCompetitive hourly wages with opportunities for overtime pay during extended trials.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work beingperformed by the employee assigned to this position.
