Local Flatbed Driver/Material Handler

Job Description **Job Summary:**Construction Materials Group is seeking a versitile Flatbed Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a dual role position that daily duties are determined by customer and market demand. Primarily the position is responsible for the ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a truck with a GVW under 26,000 lbs. While not delivering construction supplies, the candidate will assist in maintaining an organized warehoue and yard while loading and unliading construction materials.**Duties:**Safely operate flatbed trucks to transport goods over short and long distancesPerform routine vehicle inspections and maintenanceLoad and unload bulky construction materials by fork truck, dump bed, or manually.Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policiesReport any incidents or accidents to the supervisor immediatelySafely operare a fork truck in the act of loading delivery vehicles, loading customer vehicles, and unload inbound materials.Clean and organize a working warehouse and building materials yard**Qualifications:**Ability to safely work without constant supervisionComplies with direction and exibits strong problem solving skillsProficiency in operating heavy equipment including fork trucks and flatbed trucksExperience with loading/unloading and securing freightAbility to frequently lift 55lbsFamiliarity with city driving and navigation systemsUnderstanding of basic warehouse and yard layoutExperience in a construction site delivery a plusClean driving record for the past 3 yearsWilling to provide a pre-employment drug screenThis position offers competitive pay, consistent hours, benefits, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
