Our company is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment while investing in the development and success of our employees.Position SummaryThe Field Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting field operations through safety inspections, training, compliance monitoring, incident prevention, and employee education. This role works closely with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field personnel to ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed consistently across active jobsites.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular jobsite safety inspections and auditsMonitor compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulationsAssist with development and implementation of site-specific safety plansLead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training programsInvestigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and assist with corrective actionsMaintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and training recordsPromote a proactive safety culture throughout field operationsSupport field leadership in identifying and mitigating workplace hazardsCoordinate with project teams to ensure safe work practices are maintainedMonitor subcontractor safety compliance when applicableAssist with workers’ compensation reporting and return-to-work coordinationStay current with industry safety standards and regulatory requirementsQualificationsPrevious construction safety experience required; heavy civil construction experience strongly preferredKnowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standardsOSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications preferredStrong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in both office and field environmentsStrong organizational and documentation skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systemsAbility to travel to project sites as neededWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)Long-term career stability with an established contractorOpportunities for professional growth and developmentTeam-oriented work environment focused on safety and success
