Alarm Technician

We are seeking an Alarm Technician to join our team! TKO Security is a locally owned company that installs, services, and repairs security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems. Please note: This is NOT a security guard job posting. Responsibilities: Install and program new security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems Communicate issues of systems to customers and offer solutions to resolve issues Conduct routine preventative maintenance on security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems Keep up with inventory of service parts on company vehicle Qualifications: Security installation, or other low-voltage related fields preferred Preferred to have a valid Texas issued Private Security License, or must be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire Must have a valid state issued Drivers License Must be able to pass a criminal background check (No Class B misdemeanors or greater within the last 5 years) Familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to handle physical workload Ability to work productively with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail Must have reliable mode of transportation to/from work Salary: Pay based on experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday On call Experience: Low voltage: 2 years (Preferred) Language: English (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
