Operations Specialist Cost Basis
HilltopSecurities is currently looking to hire an Operations Specialist to support Cost Basis. The Cost Basis Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completion of cost basis and tax lot reporting for all accounts maintained by HilltopSecurities. The Operations group is a collection of sub-departments which is responsible for everything after an account is opened or a trade occurs. The Operations group's responsibilities include opening customer accounts, account maintenance, receiving and delivering money and securities to customers, and many more.ResponsibilitiesUnder moderate to close supervision, performs routine or basic functions according to department guidelines.Review and reconcile cost basis reports through BetaNTX Maxit, FIS, Wall Street Assist with gifted/inherited updates, adding missing cost or custom pairing adjustmentsUpdate Cost Basis due to Corporate Actions and OptionsPerform Internal Cost MovementsReview and explain fixed income cost basis adjustmentsAssist with General Inquiries/Salesforce CasesReviews and maintains quality data in cost basis system to facilitate complete and accurate information reporting.
