Sales and Contracts Assistant
Description last updated: 05/13/2026.Department: Sales/Contracts.Reports To: Sales and Contracts Manager.Standard Starting Salary/Wage: $24-$26/hr X Full-time Part-time X Exempt Non-exempt.Approved by: Joseph Gurvich, President.Educational Requirements: AA degree or equivalent.Minimum Previous Experience Required: One year in a similar role.Training will be provided.Job/Position SummaryServe as customer point of contact, with emphasis on timely and accurately responding to customer concerns and requests.Maintain and track deadlines.Coordinate information and tasks with customers and internal departments.Review, approve, and communicate contract terms.Establish and maintain customer relationships.Perform, oversee and guide proposal submissions, contract negotiations, contract management and document management.Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to contracts and purchasing.Ensure compliance with all federal and customer contract requirements.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesInterface with Customers and Outside Sales Representatives.Create and maintain relationships with Customers and Suppliers.Maintain correspondence with Customers via email, phone calls, meetings etc.Monitor quote terms, conditions, and pricing. Follow up to ensure execution per terms.Write, evaluate, negotiate, and execute Proposals, Bids, Quotes and Contracts.Ensure flow of Customer requirements throughout all internal departments.Learn and utilize MRP system to process and track orders.Create reports and conduct appropriate follow up.QualificationsSuperior reading, writing and language skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.Ability to work independently, and capable of exercising sound judgment in the absence of detailed instructionsAccuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail.Proficient in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word and Outlook).Physical RequirementsAbility to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, including standing or sitting.Capable of lifting to 15 pounds as needed.Work Authorization/Security Clearance: U.S. Citizens or lawfully authorized applicants to work in the United States.Work Schedule: Full Time - Four (4) ten hour days, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Thursday)Travel: Possibility of 5%Other Duties: This job description is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements, or working conditions.
