Shoe Service Attendant
DescriptionAvailability Requirements: Weekday & Weekend MorningsShifts: Schedule of 8am or 7am to Noon or 1pm Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday(can be flexible or may be asked to work different days based on demand)Mandatory Events: June Member Guest Tournament, August Member Guest Tournament, Member Members, and any other large golf eventsOperational Days: Open Tuesday-Sunday (Mostly Closed on Mondays)January-March only open Thursday-SundayJob Tasks/ DutiesShines and polishes shoes, including leather dress shoes and golf shoes.Cleans, dries, and maintains golf shoes; replaces or adjusts spikes as needed.Maintains shoe care supplies: polish, brushes, cloths, conditioners.Tracks and returns shoes accurately to owners.Maintains a clean, organized shoe service area.Restocks supplies and reports inventory needs.Ensures security of guest footwear and personal items.Keeps towels stocked in the locker roomRestocks supplies including tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo, razors, and after-shave lotionMaintains a list of occupied lockers; provides a billing list to the Accounting Department.Assists with light cleaning and upkeep of the locker room when needed.Completes other assigned tasks.RequirementsJob Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations Able to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in locker room. Cleaning, caring for and restoring athletic shoes and golf shoes.Physical Demands and Work Environment Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment, which is typical of this position. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling. Frequent repetitive motions. Continuous standing and walking. Able to lift, pull or push 30 pounds.
