This position will be located in our Jurupa Valley, CA location.Function:The Machine operator is responsible for all aspects of Operating different types of Machines, Chop saw, Band Saw, bending board, Coupling, Reducing & Belling machine.Duties & Responsibilities:Operate Machinery to assist in the production processProduce material at a productive rate.Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.General facility maintenance.Physical checks of Production & Quality Control.Safety Awareness of machinery and workplace.Maintained work area organize and clean.Other duties as assigned by manager. Requirements:Be able to identify pipe per size and typeKnowledgeable on how to use a measuring tape and other toolsBasic math skills and reasoning skillsGeneral understating of a warehouse environmentWilling to learn new task QualificationsHigh School diploma, GED or equivalentExperience is a plusAbility to read, comprehend and write simple instructionsAbility to move/lift 50 pounds unassistedAbility to withstand temperature of a typical warehouse environmentAbility and desire to learn warehouse and company operations Benefits:At Walters, we believe that our benefits should make a difference-to you, your job, and the life you lead outside of work.
