The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of transformer used in wind, solar, battery storage, or other critical energy projects. This is a site-based position requiring permanent on-site presence and regular travel to multiple project locations.Job Responsibilitiesl Install, maintain high voltage transformer(above 230kV) and its related systems, equipment and components (transformers, bushings, tap changers, etc.) per project specs, drawings and safety standards.l Conduct transformer testing, commissioning and troubleshooting (insulation resistance, turns ratio, oil analysis) to ensure performance and reliability.l Follow safety protocols and regulations for high-risk transformer tasks (LOTO, de-energization, oil handling) to prevent hazards.l Collaborate with project teams to complete transformer installation, maintenance and repair efficiently and safely.l Document transformer work, inspections, test results and maintenance records for traceability and compliance.l Diagnose transformer technical issues (insulation breakdown, winding faults) and implement timely corrective actions.l Participate in transformer-specific safety training and quality control activities.Ensure compliance with local/state/federal electrical codes and transformer industry standards (IEEE, IEC, GB/T).Qualifications and Requirementsl Must have solid hands-on experience with transformer installation and commissioning at 230kV and above; this is a critical requirement.l Must hold a valid electrician license (Any state in the U.S.); Master Electrician or Journeyman certification preferredl Other relevant electrical licenses/certifications preferredl 80% Travel Required;l Commitment to safety and knowledge of NEC, local codes and OSHA standards;l Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.Benefitsl Salary: Competitive compensation package, details to be discussed during the interview.l Health Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.l Growth Opportunities: We support professional development through ongoing training and career advancement programs.l Vehicle: Company vehicles may be provided, details to be confirmed.l Expected Start Date: Target window is April–May; flexible and finalized upon offer.
