Location: South San Francisco, CA, 94080Company: Neurona TherapeuticsAbout Neurona TherapeuticsNeurona Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in South San Francisco, CA, developing cell-based therapies for neurological diseases.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Preclinical Research Associate who will contribute to ongoing programs and help build new animal models to study modulation of neural circuits and support the translational development of cellular therapeutics.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess tissue for histology, including microtome and cryostat sectioning, immunohistochemistry, imaging, and quantitative analysisFollow experimental protocols and maintain detailed, accurate recordsWork with rodent models, including handling, dosing, surgical procedures, and tissue collectionAnalyze data and communicate results clearly to the teamConduct independent experiments and contribute to collaborative research activitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 1–2 years of hands-on laboratory experience, including work with animal models OR Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline with relevant research experienceExperience working with neural tissue is a plusStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to contribute to a teamClear and effective written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of motivation and passion for drug discovery and developmentThis job description is not intended to be exhaustive and may evolve as business needs change.
