Procurement Intern

Primary Talent Partners has an exciting internship opportunity with a Fortune 150 client within their procurement organization.We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Procurement Intern for a Summer 2026 internship to join the dynamic procurement team at a global power technology leader. This internship is designed for currently enrolled college students looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement processes, supplier engagement, and operational support within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong communication skills.Requirements:Must be a currently enrolled college student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related fieldStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI)Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentA proactive and team-oriented mindsetResponsibilities:Assist the procurement team with sourcing parts for customers without an existing sourceProvide general administrative support to the procurement teamCollaborate with internal departments to ensure parts are fully set up following internal guidelinesSubmit RFQ requests to suppliers through required systems while following confidentiality requirementsFollow up with sourcing teams and/or suppliers to meet RFQ due dates and extend RFQs as neededLook up part prints in WindchillResearch part information in related internal systemsEnter parts pricing updates and sourcing rules in purchasing systems, confirm blanket orders are updated, and ensure sourcing rules are set in respective systemsCreate PPAP (quality approval) requests in the system and partner with SQIEs to provide information, update due dates, and follow up with suppliers as neededInternship Details:Internship Term: Summer 2026Eligibility: Current college students onlyOpportunity to gain hands-on corporate procurement experience and build professional skills in supply chain operationsRates starting at $20/hr.Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
