Control Room Alarm Monitor

This position is responsible for monitoring and receiving equipment and system alarms and initiating a prompt and accurate response. Those job duties are as follows:Job ResponsibilitiesVisually monitors all equipment and system alarmsEvaluates all alarms and selects and reviews the process where the alarm is occurringRespond to and acknowledge equipment and system alarmsContact the appropriate responsible party for investigation and resolution utilizing a telephone or two-way radioInitiate an alarm Work Order when needed and document actions taken, process work orders from entry through close outTrack and document root cause, investigation, and corrective actions of work orders from alarmsReconcile alarms with alarm printout at the end of each shiftMonitor and document planned alarmsComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. This position is a 12hour rotating shift. Required QualificationsBasic knowledge of Computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness and the flexibility to operate independently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multitask and work without direct supervisionAccurate and efficient data entry and follow up skillsAbility to adjust and adapt to a constantly changing environmentOther RequirementsThe ability to communicate and collaborate across many levels within JLL and ClientFriendly, cooperative, customer service-minded attitude; team playerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have willingness to learnPreferred SkillsKnowledge of Delta V and BMS alarm systemsKnowledge of EAMS or other CMMS Experience
