Warehouse General LaborerGeneral Laborer will perform a variety of tasks to support the process of producing and shipping products in a variety of workstations including but not limited to packing, wrapping, crating, loading, labeling, and maintenance, welding, grinding. This is a warehouse operations position under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.Essential functions include performing various general labor as assigned by the Leadership Team, working in warehouse areas where tasks and job duties may vary, following job orders according to customer specifications on the daily travelers, retrieving parts necessary for completion of finished products, understanding and identifying all components that comprise the finished product, reporting production and quality data as dictated in daily travelers to supervisor, maintaining an organized work environment, performing other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team to support company goals, participating in the Safety Program, and based on proficiency, training on warehouse workstations.Physical demands and work environment include operating simple hand or power tools to pack/move required materials, handling materials such as metal, poly, glue, etc., lifting to 75 pounds repetitively, pushing and/or pulling carts up to 75 pounds, using and being able to work with required PPE, standing for long periods of time, performing repetitive tasks such as twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching, working in a moderate to loud noise level warehouse, upholding all safety standards applicable to the responsibilities above, and working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, previous manufacturing and/or maintenance experience preferred, the ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions and standard work tickets, basic computer skills, basic math skills required, proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills, the ability to work independently as well as in a group environment, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and good organizational skills related to managing paperwork and time.Benefits include weekly pay, health insurance, incentives and performance-based bonuses, referral bonuses, and temp-to-hire career growth potential.
