Position: Senior Front End / Angular Developer -SVPLocation: NYC, NY-4 days in a week-HybridDuration: Long TermSkills:Experience in the securities or financial services industry, particularly within EquitiesPrior exposure to Order Management Systems (OMS), execution platforms, or trading workflowsExperience designing front-end solutions for real-time data, grids, charts, and dashboardsUnderstanding of the equities trade lifecycle and front-office user needsFamiliarity with regulatory-driven UI requirements and auditability concernsProduction support experience, including troubleshooting UI issues under time-sensitive conditionsExperience with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, Playwright)Exposure to backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, or messaging systems is a plusStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with traders, operations, and technology partnersJob ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain rich, responsive Angular-based web applications for equities trading and execution platformsDevelop reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design patterns to support multiple front-office and operations applicationsCollaborate with backend Java and messaging teams to integrate RESTful and event-driven services (Kafka/MQ-backed systems)Translate complex trading, order management, and execution workflows into intuitive, high-performance user interfacesOptimize UI performance for real-time data visualization, high-throughput event updates, and low-latency user interactionsParticipate in UI architecture decisions and contribute to modernization and re-engineering initiativesEnsure UI applications meet enterprise standards for security, accessibility, and resiliencySupport mission-critical systems by delivering enhancements and contributing to production support as neededCoordinate and contribute to system and user acceptance testingCollaborate within a platform operating model across multiple teams and stakeholdersMentor junior UI developers and promote front-end best practices
