If any of the new gastroenterology candidates have ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) skills, they will be able to perform these interventional procedures.These skills are a plus but are not required.They have five Gastroenterologists on staff, four Nurse Practitioners and three Physician Assistants.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATEBoard Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology.New York State license in good standing is required.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:They commonly treat the following conditions: Pancreatitis, Colitis, Gallbladder Diseases, Peptic Ulcer, Colon Polyps, Colon Cancer, Hepatitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and medical conditions disrupting the normal function of the digestive tract.Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, from9:00 a.m.to5:00 p.m.There is no on call.They also have internal medicine residents and gastroenterology fellows who rotate through this facility.
