Assembler | 1st/2nd Shift| Milpitas, CAMilpitas, CA Immediately Temporary/ContractAs an Assembler you will:Assemble, wire, and test electromechanical devices according to specifications.Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble components.Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues in assembled products.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes.Maintain a clean and organized workspace.Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies.This is a Full-Time Temp to Hire opportunity.Schedule: Monday - Friday1st shift - 6am - 2:30pm2nd shift - 2:30pm - 11pmThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience as an assembler or in a similar role.Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.Some experience with soldering and crimping techniques.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.Excellent hand dexterityFamiliarity with hand and power toolsComfortable working with small and delicate materialsAbility to follow written instructions provided by the manufacturer to build the final productPay Rate: $24.00 per hour2nd Shift earns 10% shift premium*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
