Job Overview We are a radiology facility specializing in women's health. We are seeking a dedicated part-time (8-12hrs/wk) Insurance Follow-Up Representative to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining positive relationships with insurance providers and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding claims. Duties Contact insurance companies via phone or email to follow up on unpaid or pending claims Verify claim statuses and gather necessary documentation to facilitate resolution Maintain accurate records of all communications and updates in the company’s database Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to claims Track and report on the progress of outstanding claims, ensuring timely follow-up actions Assist in resolving billing or coverage questions raised by clients or insurance representatives Stay informed about changes in insurance policies and procedures that may impact claim processing Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail Prior experience in insurance, healthcare, or customer service is required Proficiency with computer systems, including Advanced Data Systems (ADS) Ability to work independently and proactively follow up on pending issues This role is vital for ensuring smooth claims resolution and maintaining positive relationships with insurance providers.
