Job Overview:
As the Senior Semiconductor Sales Director at ASC Global, you will be instrumental in driving demand for our semiconductor products across the Americas. This on-site position in Tamarac, FL. The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth for our electronic components business. Additionally, you will need to manage a personal book of clients, actively engage in sales, and maintain strong client relationships while guiding and supporting the sales team. Your role will involve crafting and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing key customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities to fuel growth.
Responsibilities:
Grow and manage your own client list through direct sales.
Create and carry out sales plans to hit revenue goals, increase market share, and attract more customers.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make accurate forecasts and improve performance.
Increase revenue by meeting sales targets, negotiating deals, and managing pricing and commissions.
Work with senior leaders to find and build partnerships and new business opportunities.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and resolving issues quickly.
Prepare and share sales forecasts and updates with senior management.
Hire, train, and manage the sales team, setting goals and tracking their progress.
Handle pricing and cost strategies to boost profitability.
Qualifications:
8 to 12 years of experience as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales role in the semiconductor industry.
Deep knowledge of the semiconductor market, including trends, technologies, and customer needs.
Strong skills in turning market insights into successful sales strategies.
Proven leadership and team management experience, with a history of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Track record of driving revenue growth, meeting sales targets, and expanding market share.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze sales data, provide valuable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
