Hospitality & Guest Experience ManagerLocation: Woodland, CA areaSchedule: Hybrid to start; transitions to full-time on-site closer to launchJDM is seeking a Hospitality & Guest Experience Manager to help plan, build, and prepare for the launch of two new hospitality concepts in the Woodland, California area. This role will be instrumental in shaping the guest experience from the ground up, with a strong focus on pre-opening planning, operational setup, guest flow, service design, hiring, and launch execution.This is not a traditional restaurant operations role. We are looking for someone who understands alcohol-focused hospitality, guest experience, and retail-driven environments and can help thoughtfully plan how these spaces will function before and during development. The right person will work closely with ownership, marketing, construction, and operations to help create welcoming, efficient, and on-brand destinations. Because JDM Estate wines and olive oils will be featured and sold within both concepts, this role will also help connect the guest experience to the JDM Estate brand.Important RequirementsApplicants must currently live in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.No current or future visa sponsorship is available for this positionCandidates must be located within commuting distance of Woodland, CA, or be willing to commute to Woodland regularly from the startResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and development of the Beer Garden and the JDM Estate Tasting venue conceptHelp define guest flow, service areas, hospitality standards, furnishings, signage, and the overall customer experienceProvide input during the planning and build-out phase to help ensure the spaces are functional, welcoming, and operationally soundAssist in pre-opening planning, staffing strategy, hiring, and training developmentWork with marketing on events, activations, launches, and guest experience opportunitiesHelp create a hospitality experience that supports JDM Estate wine and olive oil sales, gifting, and brand storytellingTransition into a more active on-site hospitality leadership role as launch approachesQualificationsBackground in hospitality, tasting rooms, wine-focused guest experience, alcohol beverage hospitality, or a related fieldExperience opening or helping launch a hospitality, wine, bar, or guest experience concept preferredStrong understanding of guest flow, service design, and hospitality operationsStrong communication, organization, and project coordination skillsComfortable working across multiple teams in an evolving environmentExcited to help build something from the ground up
