Job Title: ControllerLocation: Alliance, OhioSalary: $156,000 annually (equivalent to $75/hour)Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to lead financial operations and drive strategic decision-making? We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Alliance, Ohio. In this role, the Controller will oversee critical accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.The ideal Controller is a strategic thinker who can also stay hands-on with day-to-day accounting operations. This Controller will partner with leadership to support business growth, improve processes, and maintain strong financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payrollPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulationsLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesEstablish and maintain internal controls to protect company assetsManage audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisorsProvide financial insights and recommendations to leadership as a ControllerQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadershipStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsProven ability to manage accounting operations and teamsAdvanced analytical and organizational skillsProficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelStrong communication and leadership abilities expected of a ControllerWhat We Offer:Competitive annual salary of $156,000Comprehensive benefits packageProfessional, collaborative work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact as a ControllerIf you’re ready to advance your career as a Controller and contribute to a growing organization, we encourage you to apply today.
