Document Controller – Engineering Projects

*Location:* *San Jose, CA* *Job Type:* Full-time *About Us:* ESP Safety Inc. is a manufacturer of industrial flame and gas detection systems serving the oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, and industrial markets worldwide. *About the Role* ESP Safety is looking for an organized, detail-oriented *Document Controller* to support our engineering and international projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, managing documentation, coordinating with teams, and ensuring that important deliverables are submitted accurately and on time. You will work closely with our engineering, project management, production, and sales teams to support projects for customers in the oil & gas, energy, and industrial sectors. *What you'll do* * Manage engineering and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. * Prepare, maintain, and track document registers, transmittals, and submission schedules. * Coordinate technical document submissions to customers and follow up on approvals and comments. * Maintain document revisions, approval status, and accurate project records. * Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and suppliers to collect required documentation. * Track outstanding deliverables and follow up to ensure project deadlines are met. * Support inspection documentation, certificates, manufacturing records, and final project documentation packages. * Assist Project Engineers with project reporting, customer correspondence, and administrative coordination. *Experience with technical documentation, document transmittals, revision control, and customer approval processes is a strong plus.* *Why Join ESP Safety?* ESP Safety designs and manufactures advanced industrial flame and gas detection systems used in projects worldwide.
