Welder/CDL Driver

Purpose / General DescriptionThe Metal Fabricator / Structural Welding Technician is responsible for designing, fabricating, repairing, and installing metal structures, supports, guards, and equipment components at industrial facilities, and the manufacturing plants. This position requires safe operation of welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment while maintaining compliance with OSHA, AWS, EPA, confined space, and company safety standards.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform metal fabrication, structural welding, fitting, cutting, grinding, and installation work.Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.Operate fabrication equipment includes welders, plasma cutters, grinders, drills, saws, and metal forming tools.Install, align, test, and inspect fabricated structures and equipment modifications.Follow OSHA safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and hot work procedures.Maintain tools, welding equipment, work areas, and service vehicles.Complete work orders, inspection logs, permits, and safety documentation accurately.Work safely and professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and contractors.
