Registered Nurse (RN) | Wound/Ostomy Location: Modesto, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,526 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN License required Certifications: BLS required, Wound care certification preferred Must-Have: - Previous travel experience - Epic experience Description: Conduct patient assessments for wound care services based on patient age, needs, and changes in condition. Collaborate and communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to interpret, adjust, and coordinate daily patient care plans. Ensure continuity of care that is patient-centric. Partner with peers and other healthcare providers to streamline patient workflow, improve outcomes, and provide high-quality care. Communicate patients' plans of care to co-workers and oncoming/off-going shifts. Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care accordance with policies and standards of care. Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families. Delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on their scope of practice and capability. Communicate treatments and activities to patients and families clearly and collaboratively. Integrate patient learning and educational needs in care delivery. Deliver safe and effective patient care in compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Uphold confidentiality of all patient protected health information. Remain current in advancements and best practices related to wound care and professional nursing practice. Participate in improvement activities within the unit and facility. Monitor patient care interventions, assess therapies, evaluate outcomes, and intervene as necessary. Conduct ongoing education for patients and their families from admission through transitions of care. Reassess and document each patient's response to the plan of care and adjust accordingly. Report safety or compliance concerns through established mechanisms. Participate in analysis of safety events to prevent future occurrences. Accurately document and update treatment information in the electronic health record. Develop and implement formal teaching and transition planning that involves patients and families.
