Whether modifying aircraft to help protect our service members overseas, performing geographical mapping for scientific research, or working to suppress large wildfires on the West Coast, we serve with integrity and excellence.Location: PAX River, MarylandPosition Summary: The A&P Mechanic diagnoses, adjusts, repairs and/or overhauls aircraft and related systems.Company Benefits And PerksPay (hourly)Full time schedule: 7AM - 4PM Monday through Friday Committed to our Military VeteransComprehensive BenefitsMedical, Dental, VisionHSA (with company contribution) and FSALife Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program401(k) with Company Match up to 12%Paid Time Off (PTO) Company Wellness Program Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and un-scheduled, routine and non-routine maintenance in a high-quality and efficient mannerInspect, troubleshoot, and make repairs utilizing applicable technical specifications/data, engineering instructions, or maintenance manualsProperly complete required paperwork to comply with Federal Regulations and applicable company policy/proceduresMaintain organization and cleanliness of shop floor/work environmentMaintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditionsTroubleshoot systems to provide an effective solutionPerform corrosion inspections and related treatment in accordance with applicable dataSubmit daily, weekly, or monthly reports as requiredMaintain communication with assigned manager for task updates and status reportsPerform engine, propeller, flight control, and landing gear rigging Perform operational/functional checks on aircraft systems and equipmentOperate equipment to test, diagnose, locate, and repair deficienciesAdjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning componentsRead and interpret technical data including original equipment manufacturer maintenance manuals, illustrated part catalogs, wiring diagrams, structural repair manuals, service bulletins, etc. to direct maintenance repairsProperly utilize parts tag instructions in accordance with company proceduresAssist in the training and guidance of new A&P MechanicsOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsFAA A&P licenseHigh school education required; some college preferredAbility to pass a DOT/FAA medicalAbility to pass site location training and aircraft specific trainingAbility to work independentlyAbility to work in a collaborative environment with A&P Mechanics, Inspectors, Pilots, and Engineers to maintain and modify aircraftPreferred Qualifications3-5 years of equivalent military, trade school, or aircraft structures experienceExperience working in an AS9100, ISO 9001, DCMA and FAA Part 145 environmentAdditional RequirementsAbility to obtain a passportAbility to: lift, balance, and carry 50 lbs, crawl in and out of tight spaces, and predominantly work in enclosed hangars, occasionally in exterior weather conditions or elevated heightsWorking ConditionsAbility to travel away from home base for up to 30 days at a timeIt is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
