Maintenance Planner/ Supervisor - PLCs

Job description:The Maintenance Planner / Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance work while also providing leadership to maintenance personnel. The position ensures safe, reliable equipment operation, compliance with MSHA safety standards, and effective execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programsThis role works closely with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and storeroom personnel to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability in a heavy industrial mining environmentKey ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule maintenance work orders and develop detailed job plansLead and support maintenance personnel and shift supervision as neededEnsure compliance with MSHA safety regulations and company safety protocolsManage preventive and predictive maintenance programsCoordinate contractors and shutdown / overhaul activitiesMaintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history in CMMS systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system issuesSupport capital projects and continuous improvement initiativesConduct inspections in underground and surface mining environmentsQualifications:5+ years maintenance leadership or planning experienceBackground in heavy industrial maintenance (mining, steel, cement, aggregates, manufacturing, etc.)Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilityExperience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)Knowledge of hydraulics, diesel equipment, welding, rigging, electrical systemsExposure to PLC and Allen-Bradley control systems preferredComfortable working in underground mine conditions and variable shiftsWhy is This a Great Opportunity:Brand recognition, Opportunity for advancement.
