The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations, including processing accounts payable and recording transactions, and maintaining accurate and consistent accounting policies. This role will assist with reconciliations, data entry, and hopefully grow ith the company. The Accounting Clerk will help organize and file financial records, support month-end and year-end close activities, and respond to internal requests for financial information. Collaboration with the Controller and team as a whole is essential to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely completion of all assigned tasks.Qualifications Proficiency with accounting software (Sage preferred) and related digital tools used for transaction processing and reporting.Demonstrated bookkeeping and general accounting skills for recording, organizing, and reconciling financial data.Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and solid organizational and time-management abilities.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Experience in an accounting, clerical, or administrative support role is beneficial; familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other office software is a plus.Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
