Senior Tax Accountant

Partridge & Associate CPA’s – Scottsdale, AZ Tax Reviewer / Senior Tax Accountant (Part-Time, Hybrid – Scottsdale) We’re seeking an experienced Tax Reviewer / Senior Tax Accountant to perform the final review of individual and business tax filings — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with firm procedures. You’ll work closely with our internal team to uphold the rigorous checks‑and‑balances system that ensures every return meets our quality benchmarks. This is a part‑time, hybrid position — ideal for a highly skilled professional who values flexibility, meaningful work, and a stable, supportive environment. Hours will fluctuate seasonally, with the potential for expanded responsibilities and hours based on performance and firm needs. What You’ll Do Conduct final reviews for both individual and business tax filings Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRS standards Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and questions Maintain client confidentiality and uphold our internal quality assurance process Utilize CCH Axcess (prior experience preferred, not required — we’ll train the right individual) and QuickBooks (prior experience required) Who You Are At least 5 years of recent experience in tax preparation and accounting CPA credential is a plus but not required Exceptional attention to detail — you don’t just review returns, you perfect them Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new systems Communicative, optimistic, results‑oriented, and dependable Thrives in a structured, collaborative environment that values proven systems Values flexibility while maintaining accountability and consistency during peak seasons Compensation Base pay range: $48.00/hr – $60.00/hr. Earn an estimated $48 to $60 per hour, depending on experience and capability. Exceptional candidates may qualify at the top of the range.
