General Correspondence Specialist
General Correspondence Specialist Remote position at Carrington Holding Company, LLC. Target pay range: $23.50/hr - $25.50/hr. Responsibilities Review incoming written inquiries that are non‐specific or unrelated to servicing of a customer's mortgage. Perform factual analyses of loan information and determine relevant information to communicate. Collaborate with other business units to assess appropriate resolution when necessary. Compose responses or customize standard templates summarizing essential information, actions taken, and final resolution. Review and respond to escalated verbal complaints from the Customer Contact Division. Draft and send letters requested by Legal and other escalation departments. Provide support to the Dispute Team and general administrative support as needed. Adhere to established department and company policies and procedures. Qualifications Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of relevant industry‐specific software packages preferred. Excellent analytical skills, unbiased thinker with ability to remain flexible. Strong time‐management and organizational skills. Ability to interact with senior management. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and written instructions. Ability to understand and communicate routine factual information. Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate on alternative solutions. Ability to apply common sense in performing job duties. Ability to make decisions that impact department credibility and operations. Ability to organize thoughts into clear terminology and compose letters. Ability to prioritize own work schedule daily. Basic numerical competency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, balance, and accuracy checks). Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Education & Experience Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. High school diploma or GED required. College education preferred but not required.
