Delivery Driver / Associate

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and professional Cannabis Delivery Driver to join our team at a licensed cannabis retail company. This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of cannabis products to customers while maintaining exceptional customer service and adhering to all California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Operations Safely transport cannabis products to customers in a timely and efficient manner Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules provided by dispatch Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, including verifying correct orders and customer details Maintain secure handling of all cannabis products, cash, and delivery documentation Provide in-store team support when required Compliance & Safety Comply with all California DCC regulations and company policies regarding cannabis transportation Verify customer identity and eligibility at the time of delivery (valid government-issued ID, age requirements) Follow all required security procedures, including lockbox use and vehicle safety protocols Report any delivery issues, incidents, or compliance concerns immediately to management Customer Service Provide professional, friendly, and discreet service during every customer interaction Answer basic customer questions regarding delivery procedures and order status Handle customer concerns calmly and escalate issues when necessary Vehicle & Documentation Responsibilities Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and required paperwork throughout the shift Ensure all deliveries are properly documented with signatures, receipts, and timestamps Support end-of-shift reconciliation, including returning unused products or paperwork Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to pass background checks in accordance with state cannabis regulations Strong communication and time-management skills Comfortable working with GPS, mobile dispatch systems, and delivery tracking tools Ability to lift and carry packages as needed Preferred Experience Previous delivery driving experience (cannabis, food, retail, or courier services preferred) Knowledge of California cannabis compliance requirements is a plus Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Work Location: In person
