Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: We are looking for a memorable Cake Decorator who has a passion for food and baked treats. Our Cake Decorator will execute day-to-day operations in our Bakery department and provide a memorable experience to all our customers. A Cake Decorator is a responsible team player and always ready to learn. A Cake Decorator has a keen eye for Food Safety and Sanitation and will be able to help in production and merchandising while offering unmatched customer service.ResponsibilitiesA Cake Decorator is a responsible, friendly Team Member who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.A Cake Decorator's responsibilities include:Icing sheet cakes and decorating with spatulas, icing bags and icing tips per customer order or at decorators' discretion.Providing memorable customer service during daily customer interactionsPreparation of food, including baking bread, decorating cookies, creating fresh offeringsSharing food knowledge with customersCleaning, Food Safety, Safety, and SanitationDay to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offeringsStocking, rotating, and merchandising department productsAll other related duties as assignedThe Cake Decorator responsibilities will primarily be in the Food Service department but may also work in other departments as needed.Qualifications:Desired qualifications include:Friendly and customer service oriented. Interest in food and cooking a plus.Customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery or similar experience desiredSelf-motivated, with a high attention to detail, quality and presentationSkills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customersAbility to work independently, effectively manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written directionsAbility to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policyMust be 18 years of ageEmployees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:
