Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector

POSITION PROFILE: Assist the Executive Housekeeper in day to day tasks to include opening and closing duties. This position will also include room inspections and facilitate the training of new employees. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION: Be able to assist with daily supervisory duties that aide and help the Executive housekeeper. Open the morning paperwork efficiently and hold morning stand up meetings with staff when called upon. Inspect rooms daily and offer guidance and feedback to the housekeeping staff. Be able to use computer systems to include hotels property management system and other computer software. Be able to understand all IHG brand standards to comply with the housekeeping department and overall hotel. Maintain a welcoming and courteous demeanor in all interactions with guests and staff. Report any missing articles, items requiring repair, damage or mechanical problems, safety hazards. Comply with attendance and all other policies outlined in the employee handbook Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications · Previous supervisory experience a plus. · Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations. Must work well with others. Effective verbal communication skills. Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation.
