To be successful in this position, the qualified candidate must be experienced in reading and interpreting plans and specifications, have at least 2 years of experience with Autodesk and/or creating 3D drawings using Revit, be highly organized and able to problem solve to ensure deadlines are met, and have strong oral and written communication skills. Prepare, submit and track product data submittalsIdentify, draft and track RFI’sCreate shop drawings and process for approvalDetail plans and generate initial material ordersAssist field teams with supplemental material orders and delivery coordinationAssist Project Managers by drafting/processing change ordersCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers to ensure their needs are being metResponsible for document control of all active projectsThe above list of duties may not include all duties required of this position. PSI retains the right to modify the duties of this position any time.Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry as a Project EngineerAt least 2 years of experience using Autodesk and/or Revit softwareAbility to read and interpret structural, architectural and civil plansAbility to maintain accuracy and prioritize deadlines in order to manage critical path workflowAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be an organized and detail-oriented problem solver with a positive attitude and strong attention to detailMust be a reliable, accountable and self-motivated individualAdvanced computer skills with high proficiency in programs such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, etc. Expertise with digital document processing; Ability to access, download, upload, and organize digital documents via FTP sites.
